NY Mets fans :)

Phillies and Braves fans :)

I'm a 24 year old woman living in Washington, D.C. I work full time doing technical operations for a Middle Eastern Television Network. I have a dog, Havok and a cat, Skiba. Both are named after the lead singers of my favorite bands. I love all sports and spend a majority of my free time either playing or watching them. Anything you want to know, feel free to ask!

Hey...thanks for the reply on my Mets post.  It was pretty old and doesn't apply as much anymore.  I definitely agree with you on the Schnieder talk, and Ryan Church has actually surprised me with how well he is hitting.  Lastings Milledge who??  haha.
I just got back to DC from NYC after going to Shea to see the Mets beat the Brewers tonight.  It was an excellent game, and Nelson Figueroa looked really good in my opinion.  I have no idea how consistent he will be, but I definitely wouldn't have a problem with him as a permanent in our starting rotation.  Time for bed!  Hope you have a good weekend!

that is awesome that you made it up to NY to see the game!  Figueroa definitely did a great job for himself.  I did not expect him to do that well but definitely accepting it.  We have more room for him in the starting pitchers now but he might not get a ton of time there since we just signed Vargas... to triple A but he will come up.  How often do you make it up to NY for games?  I dont remember if this is a DC area group or coincidence but I actually live in the DC area too.  I am going up to northern Jersey in a few weeks with the fam and hopefully the Mets are at home.  Maybe I will get a chance to tell Reyes to turn back into his old self otherwise I will have to do it here during the 2 games.  Citi Field is looking great in the background of Shea now.  Too bad they didnt leave Shea's name in it with Citi... Shea's Citi Field... i guess.  He did bring the Mets here.  OK I am rambling.  Back to your comment, Church is doing awesome at the plate for himself.  Hopefully he can keep it going.  I am impressed with Angel Pagan, especially for a backup OF who could get a lot of time with Alou being 103.

PS Oliver Perez is really holding his own with ALL that money his agent got him.  If all that before was rambling sorry it is late and I am tired.  Unlike many Yankee fans I can say I GOTTA BELIEVE!!

Sweet 16 Baby!!! Look out Vandy then Stanford.... Here come the TERPS!!!

The TERPS got passed Norht Carolina that is the best. Gary Williams has the best record against #1 teams of any active coach. 6 out of the last 7 meetings with number ones. Too bad we could not beat UCLA.

What's up with that.

Oh by the way. We work for  Middle East Broadcast network, not television. I'm so jealous that your going to the game. Is it the BB&T classic? Hope Maryland does better at Verizon center than they normally do.

Big Terps game tonight. Maryland needs the win bad.
